Lou DiNardo
General Partner, Crosslink Capital
Mr. DiNardo brings over 25 years of experience as a successful semiconductor executive and venture investor. Prior to joining Crosslink Mr. DiNardo was a General Partner in the CleanTech practice at VantagePoint Venture Partners. Previously, Mr. DiNardo served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Intersil Corporation (ISIL). Mr. DiNardo served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of the board of directors of Xicor Corporation from November of 2000 through July of 2004 when the company was acquired for over $500 million by Intersil. Prior to joining Xicor Mr. DiNardo was most recently Vice President and General Manager of the Mixed Signal Business Unit at Linear Technology Corporation (LLTC) and held a variety of executive positions with the company during his 13-year tenure with the company. Mr. DiNardo began his career in the semiconductor industry at Analog Devices Corporation.

Len Rand
Managing Director, Granite Ventures
Len joined Granite Ventures in 2002, after spending nearly three decades working inside both public and private companies. As CEO of four private companies, he successfully turned them into public entities through acquisition. Prior to joining Granite, Len was General Manager of Strategic Marketing and Global Alliances for the Intel Communications Group (ICG) at Intel Corporation. Len joined Intel after serving as CEO and Founder of NetBoost Corporation, which was acquired by Intel Corporation in 1999. Prior to NetBoost, Len was Co-founder of Internet Middleware, Inc., as well as CEO of The Whitewater Group (acquired by Symantec). Len was also CEO at the Rand Group (acquired by Intergraph Corporation), and was Vice President & General Manager at both Intergraph Corporation and Autodesk, Inc.

Steven Lee
General Partner, STIC Investments
Mr. Steven Lee is a partner in STICÂ’s US office, and heads the US investment team for STIC INVESTMENTS. With over 13 years of experience working with companies in various IT fields, Steven has worked with startups in the areas of software, internet applications, networking, storage, and semiconductors. Previously, Steven worked with Athena Technology Ventures, a venture capital fund focusing on early stage companies in communications and information technology, and has served on the boards of several startups, working closely with companies such as Cenix, Chameleon Systems, Creative Design Solutions, Persist, Trapezo, and Zantaz. Steven earned a MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He specialized in Digital Signal Processing and was the member of Eta Kappa Nu and Tau Beta Pi engineering honor societies.

Dr. Louis “Lou” R. Tomasetta, Ph.D.
Lou co-founded Vitesse Semiconductor a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative silicon solutions used in the networking, communications and storage industries. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer from its inception in 1987 until 2006. Previously he was President of the integrated circuits division of Vitesse Electronics Corporation. Prior to that, Lou was a director of the Advanced Technology Implementation department at Rockwell International Corporation. Lou has over 25 years experience in the management and development of high technology businesses. He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Roubik Gregorian
President and CEO, Plato Networks
Roubik is a senior industry executive widely recognized as a preeminent expert in analog MOS, mixed signal and digital signal processing. Previously, as President and CEO of Exar Corporation he was instrumental in transitioning the company into a major supplier of wire-line and optical products for the communications market. He joined Exar through the acquisition of Startech Semiconductor, where he served as President. As Vice President of R&D and Chief Technology Officer for Sierra Semiconductor, he spearheaded product strategy and development activities from inception through to a leadership position in communications and multimedia semiconductors. Earlier in his career he was manager of analog and telecommunications products at American Microsystems where he received several awards including one for developing the industry's first PCM CODEC. Roubik has been issued 28 patents, authored two textbooks and 45 technical articles. He received a Ph.D. from UCLA.

Joseph Babanezhad
Chief Technical Officer, Plato Networks
Joseph co-founded Plato Networks and has successfully developed several leadership designs for both wireline and wireless applications. His areas of expertise include both data converters and signal processing. Previously, he managed wireless communications IC design at National Semiconductor. At Sierra Semiconductor, Joseph was responsible for managing a variety of IC designs for data communications, telecommunications, and biomedical applications. He also held design positions at Xerox, Teledyne and Comp-U-Med. Joseph has numerous technical publications and has received eight U.S. patents. He was a member of the IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T standard committee. Joseph received a Ph.D. from UCLA. |
